Introduction
Introducing the Task Event Audit Log: A Powerful New Feature in AMS
New Features and Improvements to Task Management
We're excited to announce several new features and improvements designed to enhance your task management experience. These updates aim to provide more transparency, control, and accuracy for users managing tasks. Here’s what’s new:
Task Event Audit Log
Each task now has its own dedicated event log, making it easier to track changes and updates. Users can see when tasks have been edited or when comments have been added or modified. All events related to a task are now conveniently displayed underneath the context and action panels, providing a clear view of task activities. The visibility of these events is managed according to sister permissions, ensuring that only authorized users can see specific details.
Task Comment Moderation
We’ve introduced new capabilities for managing task comments:
- Users with the appropriate permissions can now edit and delete comments, making it easier to keep task discussions relevant and up-to-date.
- Comment authors can now amend their own comments without requiring additional permissions, providing greater flexibility and control over task discussions.

Improvements
- Task Status Change from Complete: We’ve streamlined the process for updating task statuses. Now, you can change a task status from "Completed" without being prompted to create a new task in its place. This improvement provides greater flexibility in managing task progress.
Bug Fixes
- Filter by Theme – Charts Accuracy: We’ve resolved an issue where the primary and secondary charts did not reflect the correct number of tasks when filtered by theme. The charts now accurately display the task count based on the selected filters, ensuring that your data is always up to date.
These updates are part of our ongoing commitment to improving your task management experience. Stay tuned for more enhancements and, as always, thank you for your continued feedback and support.
